Hey Friend! So glad to see you, here! I’m just a wife, a mom and an artist who discovered, not long, ago, that God speaks to me in ways I hear much more clearly when I paint things that inspire me. Since then, He's shown me that I'm not "just" anything! I'm his, "Beloved daughter" and made for a purpose no one else can fulfill. When I keep that in mind, I approach most days with a sense of anticipation and wonder what God has planned for us to do!
My hope is that this crazy journey of mine inspires you in yours and that you discover, if you haven't yet, how God speaks to you (it's a little different for everyone!) or maybe just find a way to hear him more clearly, if you don't.
The road we travel can be so confusing. I've found it a necessary practice to seek out the good; to find the beautiful…or darkness can overwhelm. I hope that this work brings you light. That your day is brighter. Your belief that God is WITH you and FOR you and IN you grows stronger; and you know how deeply you are LOVED.

Kayla’s art has warmth and whimsy. Photos of her work hardly do it justice considering the thoughtful details that go into each piece. I am in the process of building my own collection of her art in my home. Her paintings are the first to get noticed and commented on. I’d also like to say that not only is Kayla a superb artist, but I have the privilege of knowing her personally.
